Privacy Policy (draft)

What we collect

Your email address; the case details you enter; messages sent and received through your case address; certified-letter addresses; payment status from Stripe (we never see or store card numbers).

What we don't do

We don't link bank accounts, log into your accounts with companies, sell your data, or handle any money you recover.

How we use it

To draft and send messages you approve, receive company replies, remind you of deadlines, and produce your evidence packet. Draft text may be processed by an AI provider (e.g. Google Gemini) under their API terms.

Anonymized outcomes

Sharing is off unless you check the box when you close a case. If you check it, we may publish only the company name, issue type, result, and days to resolve, and only after a company has several outcomes. We do not publish your name, email, dollar amounts, order numbers, message text, or the optional "What worked?" note. That note stays on your case and is deleted with it.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist we store only your email and signup date, use it solely to announce launch, and delete it on request.

Retention

When you close a case, we schedule that case, its messages, and its letter records for deletion 90 days later. Closing does not delete them today. You can permanently delete a case or your account from the app at any time; otherwise email support@refundchaser.com to ask for deletion sooner. Open cases with no activity for 180 days, and idle accounts with no cases and no active membership after 365 days, are removed automatically.
